Levica slams DPMNE for awarding diplomatic post to absentee Arben Feta

Levica, an opposition party in North Macedonia, criticised the coalition government led by VMRO‑DPMNE for rewarding Arben Feta (also spelled Fetai), who allegedly failed to attend work for months while continuing to receive a salary from public funds.

The party says the appointment – a diplomatic status and a new state title – exemplifies a privileged political caste that benefits from non‑working officials. Levica accused the government of misusing public money and replacing accountability with further privileges, quoting that “instead of sanction, he is rewarded and promoted” and that “the merit system values political loyalty over work”.
