Levite Jewish Community Center appoints Lane Estes as CAO
The Levite Jewish Community Center (LJCC) has appointed Lane Estes as its new chief administrative officer. In this role, Estes will oversee administrative operations, strategic initiatives, and organizational infrastructure while managing teams across the organization.
Estes joins the LJCC following more than 25 years of senior administration at Birmingham-Southern College, where he most recently served as vice president for administration and chief operating officer. Following the closure of the college, he managed the transition of its campus to the U.S. Coast Guard.
LJCC CEO Brooke Bowles stated that Estes’ expertise in managing complex operations and strategic transitions will strengthen the center’s mission. Estes, a graduate of Leadership Birmingham, previously served on several local boards and has a long-standing connection to the LJCC through his children’s attendance at the center’s Early Childhood Learning Center.
