Levoit advises Australians on managing hay fever indoors
As spring arrives in Australia following a record-warm winter, Levoit is highlighting methods to manage hay fever symptoms indoors. Rising pollen levels from grass, weeds, and trees, combined with above-average temperature forecasts, are expected to increase airborne particles in homes.
Allergens such as pollen, dust, mould, and pet dander can enter living spaces through windows, doors, clothing, and pets. To combat these, Levoit suggests using air purifiers equipped with three-stage filtration systems. These systems include a pre-filter for large particles like hair and lint, a HEPA filter for fine particles such as pollen and mould spores, and an activated carbon filter to absorb smoke, fumes, and odours.
