Levski coach Julio Velázquez reacts to Cup victory

Levski head coach Julio Velázquez expressed satisfaction following his team's 2-0 victory over Spartak Pleven in the Sesame Bulgarian Cup round of 32. Velázquez noted that while the team struggled with offensive rhythm during the first half, they successfully adjusted after the break to find more space and secure the win.

The Spanish coach emphasized the importance of squad depth due to a demanding schedule and praised the collective effort of his players. He also addressed specific player management, noting that early substitutions were made to manage players returning from injury and to integrate new talent like Petko, who made his debut during the match.

Looking ahead, Velázquez highlighted the upcoming challenge against Viktoria Plzeň, noting the need for recovery and preparation for different tournament dynamics.
