Levski Sofia waives academy fees for four age groups

Levski Sofia has announced a significant restructuring of its youth academy, beginning with the immediate removal of training fees for four specific age groups. The club will fully cover the costs of football education and development for players in the U14, U15, U16, and U17 categories participating in the Sofia championship and Elite Youth groups.

This decision is part of a long-term strategy to invest in infrastructure and coaching standards. The club aims to achieve Category 1 status for its academy by the 2027/28 season, meeting the requirements of the Bulgarian Football Union and the Double Pass program. The ultimate goal is to create a premier development center capable of producing talent for both the Bulgarian and European markets, ensuring that a family's financial situation does not hinder a player's progression into the senior team.
