Levski Sofia seeks new location for modern training base

Levski Sofia is actively searching for a location to build a modern training base for its first team and youth academy. Club Executive Director Daniel Borimirov has been exploring several potential sites around Sofia.

One option involves Kazichane, where Borimirov met with Mayor Grigor Grigorov to discuss acquiring a local stadium and land for additional pitches, locker rooms, and administrative or hotel facilities. Reports suggest the club has received an offer for a significant sum.

Other locations under consideration include Ravno Pole, situated 20 kilometers from the capital center, and the Botunets district. The Botunets site features a hall and three pitches; while currently in poor condition, the club is reportedly prepared to invest heavily in its renovation. The Botunets location offers logistical advantages, including proximity to the extended third metro line and a high concentration of club supporters. The club aims to develop high-quality facilities, including a modern medical center, to compete with rivals like CSKA Sofia.
