Lewin Brzeski to build new rescue unit following flood damage

Authorities in Lewin Brzeski are planning the construction of a new rescue unit facility following flood damage to the town's existing garage building. The new infrastructure is intended to house rescue vehicles and combat equipment, providing proper conditions for the storage and maintenance of machinery.

The project includes modernizing the space with expanded locker rooms for both men and women, new social zones, and rest areas to improve the working conditions of emergency responders. Additionally, the plan involves replacing equipment lost during the recent floods.

To fund the project, the Mayor of Lewin Brzeski is engaging in discussions with the Opole Voivode and the Marshal of the Opole Voivodeship. The technical documentation and tender specifications are being developed in collaboration with the rescuers themselves to ensure the facility meets operational needs.
