Lewis Hamilton addresses Ferrari rumors and concedes F1 title race

Lewis Hamilton has addressed rumors circulating in the Italian media regarding his influence over personnel changes at Ferrari. Following the Spanish Grand Prix, reports suggested that the seven-time world champion was demanding structural changes and the replacement of key staff members within the Scuderia. Hamilton clarified that his previous comments focused on the need for organizational and strategic improvements rather than requests to replace specific colleagues, noting that such transitions require time and collective effort.

On the competitive front, Hamilton appears to have conceded the Formula 1 championship race following a retirement due to brake issues at the Madrid Grand Prix. He acknowledged the dominance of Kimi Antonelli and Mercedes, stating, “I don’t think anyone can stop Kimi or Mercedes this year. They have done an amazing job and they deserve it.”

With nine Grand Prix remaining, Antonelli holds a significant lead in the standings, while Mercedes maintains a substantial advantage over Ferrari in the constructors' championship. Despite his diminished title hopes, Hamilton encouraged Ferrari to continue their efforts for the remainder of the season.
