Lewis Hamilton claims Ferrari has the right formula for title charge

Lewis Hamilton believes Ferrari has found the ‘right formula’ to challenge for the Formula 1 world championship following a series of technical and organizational changes. After a period of adjustment, Hamilton stated that the team is now ‘in sync’ regarding engineering, processes, and car design.

A significant technical shift driven by Hamilton involves the team’s braking system. While Ferrari maintains a long-standing relationship with Brembo, Hamilton and Charles Leclerc have transitioned to using Carbon Industrie brake discs. This change was implemented to leverage Hamilton’s extensive experience with the specific components from his twelve seasons at Mercedes.

In the 2026 season, Ferrari has demonstrated improved competitiveness, with Hamilton securing five podiums in 12 races, including a victory in Barcelona. Hamilton currently sits third in the driver standings, level on points with George Russell.
