Lewis Hamilton clinches first Ferrari victory at Barcelona Grand Prix

British driver Lewis Hamilton won the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, marking his first race win for Ferrari and the 106th victory of his career. The triumph came after a strategic race featuring strong pit stops and a flawless drive, allowing Hamilton to finish ahead of his Mercedes teammates George Russell and Lando Norris.

Hamilton, 41, described the win as an “incredible feeling” for himself and the whole Ferrari team, praising the crew’s work on the car and the collective effort that made the victory possible. He highlighted the importance of the pit stops, the aggressive tyre strategy and his own focus after a challenging previous season that included an injury.

The race saw retirements from Kimi Antonelli and Charles Leclerc, while Verstappen finished fifth. Hamilton’s win restores Ferrari to the top step of the podium for the first time in a year and a half.
