Lewis Hamilton secures first Ferrari win at Barcelona GP, climbs to second in championship

Lewis Hamilton won the Barcelona‑Catalunya Grand Prix, delivering his first victory for Scuderia Ferrari after 31 attempts. The triumph moved him to second place in the World Drivers' Championship with 115 points, trailing leader Kimi Antonelli's 156 points.

George Russell, who took pole position for the race, said his recent performance dip was caused by borrowing teammate Antonelli's car‑setup approach. After the weekend, Russell emphasized returning to his own setup methods to regain confidence in the Mercedes W17.

The Barcelona event also saw Antonelli maintain his championship lead, while Russell served a drive‑through penalty that dropped him to third in the race, highlighting the shifting dynamics among the top drivers this season.
