Lewis Hamilton clinches first Ferrari victory at Barcelona Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton secured his 106th career win and his first triumph for Ferrari by winning the Barcelona Grand Prix. A strategic three‑stop pit plan and a virtual safety car allowed Hamilton to overtake George Russell of Mercedes, who finished second, while Andrea Kimi Antonelli retired after a wing failure.

Hamilton praised his team, saying his "heart exploded with joy" after crossing the line in the red Ferrari colours. The result moves him to 115 points in the drivers' standings, 41 points behind championship leader Antonelli, and narrows the gap to the top of the constructors' leaderboard.

The victory ends a two‑year winless streak for Hamilton and fuels speculation about his future in Formula 1, with the win seen as a turning point after a difficult 2025 season.
