Lewis Hamilton seeks eighth F1 title with Ferrari
Lewis Hamilton is experiencing a strong second season driving for Ferrari. Currently ranked second in the Formula 1 World Championship standings with 169 points, the 41-year-old British driver trails leader Kimi Antonelli, who has 219 points.
Hamilton is currently tied with Michael Schumacher at seven world titles. A victory in this championship would secure an eighth title, making him the most successful driver in the history of the sport. When asked to rate his own performance behind the wheel of the SF-26 during the first half of the season, Hamilton described it as ‘perhaps slightly above average.’
Regarding his championship prospects, Hamilton remains cautious, stating that he prefers to approach the season race by race and focus on maximizing the resources available to him.
