Lewiston/Lisbon volleyball named Varsity Maine Team of the Week

The Lewiston/Lisbon girls' volleyball team has been named the Varsity Maine Girls Team of the Week. The Blue Devils have maintained a perfect 4-0 record this season and have not yet lost a set.

Following a difficult previous season where the team finished 16th out of 18 teams in Class A with a 2-12 record, the team has secured consecutive victories against Brunswick, Brewer, Mt. Ararat, and Hampden Academy. Coach Jennifer Curlee noted that the team's talent has finally begun to mesh, adding that the players are now playing with a ‘bigger chip on our shoulder’ as opposing teams begin to take notice of their performance.
