Álex García finishes fourth in U23 MTB Short Track World Championships

Spanish cyclist Álex García finished fourth in the U23 Short Track event at the MTB World Championships in Val di Sole, Italy. García, representing the Mondraker Factory Racing Team, led portions of the race and remained in contention for a medal until the final sprint. He finished with the same time as the bronze medalist, Rens Teunissen, trailing the winner by three seconds.

Spanish rider Thibaut François also performed strongly, finishing in tenth place, just eight seconds behind the winner. The gold medal was claimed by Switzerland’s Nicolas Halter, with Germany’s Paul Schehl taking silver.
