Álex Sola involved in traffic accident and fleeing scene in Almería

UD Almería footballer Álex Sola was involved in a traffic accident in Almería during the early hours of Sunday. Driving a high-end grey BMW, Sola struck several parked vehicles on Avenida de Montserrat, causing significant material damage and leaving his own vehicle's front wheels twisted and unusable.

Video footage captured by residents shows Sola exiting the vehicle to check the damage and retrieve belongings before fleeing the scene on foot. Local police arrived to find the abandoned car and subsequently detained the 27-year-old player. Following a breathalyzer test, Sola reportedly tested positive for alcohol consumption.

The incident occurred following his team's victory against Burgos CF, a match in which Sola did not play. This event follows previous reports regarding the player's frequenting of nightlife establishments during his time at Granada CF.
