Lexus launches updated IS300h with F SPORT Mode Black VI edition

Lexus has announced updates to its IS luxury sedan lineup in Japan, headlined by the introduction of the F SPORT Mode Black VI special edition. The IS300h model features a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a hybrid electric motor and a rear-wheel-drive configuration.

The F SPORT Mode Black VI edition distinguishes itself with several premium upgrades, most notably exclusive 19-inch black-painted BBS forged aluminum wheels designed to reduce unsprung weight and improve handling. The exterior also receives upgraded three-eye Full LED headlights.

Inside, the special edition features a sportier cabin utilizing black Ultrasuede and L-tex synthetic leather on the seats, door armrests, and center console. Additional comfort features for this trim include driver seat memory and ventilated front seats. The updated IS lineup in Japan includes the standard model, version L, F SPORT, and the Mode Black VI, with prices starting from 5.9 million yen.
