Lexus announces new electric TZ SUV and updates to GX and RZ models
Lexus has announced several updates to its vehicle lineup, including the introduction of the 2027 TZ, its first fully electric three-row SUV. In the United States, the TZ will feature three trims: Premium AWD starting at $64,050, Premium Touring AWD at $72,050, and a Luxury AWD model at $80,550. The TZ utilizes the DIRECT4 all-wheel-drive system and offers battery options providing between 253 and 315 miles of range.
Additionally, Lexus has released an updated version of the GX off-road SUV. The improvements focus on the OVERTRAIL+ grade, which now features larger tires to increase ground clearance and revised Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) and Electric Power Steering (EPS) for better handling on both paved and unpaved roads. The GX features a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine.
In Australia, Lexus confirmed the upcoming release of the RZ600e F Sport Performance in late 2026. As the brand’s most powerful electric vehicle, it will be limited to a global production run of 200 units and is expected to be priced from $135,000.
