Lexus updates LS sedan and announces return to Serbia
Lexus is expanding its market presence through both product updates and regional expansions. In Japan, the Lexus LS luxury sedan has received significant technical enhancements aimed at improving body and chassis rigidity to better compete with German manufacturers. These updates include a reinforced central tunnel, the application of REDS damping technology for improved rear suspension, and recalibrated adaptive variable suspension (AVS) and electric power steering. The LS 500h hybrid model, featuring a 3.5-liter V6 engine and electric motor producing 359 HP, remains a key part of the Japanese lineup.
Simultaneously, Toyota Serbia has officially announced the return of the Lexus brand to the Serbian market. The brand's re-entry will begin with the opening of sales and service centers in Belgrade and Novi Sad, with plans to expand the network across the rest of the country. The expansion includes the introduction of the new Lexus ES model to the region.
