LeyuanSu rebrands 3D idol game V Project to StarToU

LeyuanSu has announced that its immersive 3D idol game, formerly known as ‘V Project’, has been officially rebranded as ‘StarToU’ (also referred to as ‘He Yu Hui Sheng’ in Chinese). The rebranding includes the reveal of a new creative hip-hop idol group named ‘MacGuffin’, featuring members Tay, Yoora, Lim, and Noki.

Alongside the title change, the developer has disclosed core gameplay mechanics. Players will interact with idols through ‘Touch’ memory reproduction technology to experience multi-line stories and participate in rhythm-based musical performances. Players can also customize character outfits and card combinations before stage shows.

Technical testing recruitment has officially opened. While a specific release date remains undecided, a closed beta test is scheduled for certain regions in the second half of 2026, with plans for global testing in the future.
