Šlezinger Orchestra to hold memorial concert in Kragujevac

The Šlezinger City Chamber Orchestra will perform a concert at the First Kragujevac Gymnasium as part of the ‘OKTOH’ manifestation. This event is dedicated to remembering the victims of the October 1941 massacre in Kragujevac.

The program features works by Joseph Haydn and Edvard Grieg, including Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 2 in D Major and Grieg’s String Quartet No. 1 in G minor. The concert will also feature a performance by prominent Bulgarian cellist Atanas Krastev.

Since 1975, the ‘OKTOH’ manifestation has served as an artistic tribute to the victims, aiming to promote peace, humanity, and a message against war through the medium of music.
