Lezo celebrates Santakrutz festivities and 50th Pilota anniversary

The Santakrutz festivities in Lezo continue this weekend with a diverse program of 29 scheduled activities. Key events include castellers performances on Saturday and the finals of the Josetxo Etxandi Memorial Pilota Championship on Sunday afternoon.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Josetxo Etxandi Memorial Pilota Tournament. The competition honors the memory of Etxandi, a dedicated figure in the local pelota community who passed away in 1975. The Sunday finals will feature the village-level category, a long-standing tradition held at the Goiko Plaza courts.
