LFA issues suspensions and club fines in Czech football

The Football Association of the Czech Republic (LFA) has issued several disciplinary sanctions following recent league matches. Viktoria Plzeň player Dávid Krčík has been suspended for four competitive matches after being sent off in a game against Teplice for striking Tomáš Zlatohlávka in the head.

Clubs have also faced significant financial penalties due to fan misconduct. Sparta Prague was fined 160,000 CZK for the use of pyrotechnics during a match against Zlín, while Baník Ostrava received a 120,000 CZK fine. Additionally, Viktoria Plzeň was fined 70,000 CZK because pyrotechnics used by their supporters caused a late start in a match against Zbrojovka Brno.

Other individual suspensions include Matěj Polidar and Ousman Ceesay, who will miss two matches each, while Milan Heča and Jevhenij Skyba will each miss one match. A video analyst for Slovácko, Vlastimil Daníček, was banned from all match functions for two games and fined 20,000 CZK for insulting officials.
