LG and Dangbei launch new mobile display and projector products in Japan

LG Electronics Japan has unveiled the LG StanbyME 2 Max, a 32-inch 4K mobile touchscreen display designed for flexible use. The device features an Alpha8 AI Processor 4K Gen3 for image upscaling and spatial audio optimization. It can be used in three modes: on a wheeled stand for mobility, a self-standing mode, or laid flat on a surface. The unit includes an internal battery providing up to 4.5 hours of wireless operation and supports auto-pivot functionality. Pre-sales will begin on the Makuake platform on September 1, with general availability expected in mid-November.

Separately, Dangbei has launched its N3 Max smart projector in the Japanese market. The projector features a 180-degree rotating gimbal mechanism, allowing for easy projection onto walls or ceilings. It operates on the VIDAA OS, supporting streaming services like Netflix and YouTube, and is compatible with Apple AirPlay. The device offers 1,000 ISO lumens of brightness and Full HD resolution. To mark the launch, Dangbei is offering a limited-time discount on Amazon and Rakuten starting August 28.
