L&G and MCI Developments partner on £40m Rochdale housing scheme

L&G Affordable Homes and MCI Developments, a subsidiary of Keepmoat, have partnered to deliver a £40 million affordable housing scheme at Trub Farm in Castleton, Rochdale. The development will consist of 158 homes, including 48 one- and two-bedroom apartments and 110 two-, three-, and four-bedroom houses located on 12 acres off Manchester Road.

The properties will be available through social rent and shared ownership models. This project supports Greater Manchester’s target of delivering 10,000 new social homes by 2032. The site plan also includes pedestrian and cycle routes connecting the new community to the Rochdale Canal towpath. Planning approval for the scheme was granted by Rochdale Council last month.
