LG and Samsung unveil AI‑enhanced 2026 TVs for World Cup viewing

LG introduced its QNED evo AI 2026 line, headlined by a 115‑inch MiniLED TV that combines Precision Dimming Ultra, AI Super Upscaling, 165 Hz VRR and 330 Hz Motion Booster to deliver smoother motion and vivid colors for sports, gaming and fast‑action content.

Samsung rolled out the Vision AI Companion (VAC) across its 2026 AI TV range, adding a voice‑interactive assistant that can recognise match schedules, predict outcomes and separate commentary, crowd and stadium audio with AI Sound Controller. The brand’s AI Soccer Mode adjusts picture and sound in real‑time for high‑speed play, while its Micro RGB, Mini LED, OLED and Neo QLED panels aim to recreate stadium ambience for World Cup fans.
