LG and TCL showcase AI-driven smart home technologies at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, LG Electronics and TCL have showcased new visions for the AI-integrated smart home.

LG Electronics introduced its next evolution of the AI Home, which utilizes contextual intelligence to coordinate connected devices and services. A key highlight is the ThinQ Claw, a new text-chat-based AI agent designed to understand user intent and provide tailored support. LG’s ecosystem also includes AI-powered ThinQ Pro for commercial spaces, which is making its debut in Europe.

TCL presented its ‘AI Inspired Life’ concept, focusing on a connected ecosystem where artificial intelligence acts as a unifying layer for televisions, screens, and appliances. The company’s presentation featured SQD-Mini LED display technology and an updated version of its TCL NXTHOME platform, aiming to create a more intuitive and integrated domestic experience.
