Appliance manufacturers launch new refrigerator technologies
Major appliance manufacturers are introducing new technologies and high-capacity models to the consumer market.
LG Electronics has launched its Multidoor four-door refrigerator in Brazil, featuring 670 liters of capacity and InstaView™ technology. This system allows users to view the interior by knocking on the glass, which can reduce cold air loss by up to 41%. LG also emphasizes Door Cooling+™ technology to ensure uniform temperature distribution and better food preservation.
Whirlpool, the parent company of Brastemp and Consul, is preparing to launch a refrigerator in the United States that produces “nugget ice,” a soft, restaurant-style ice. The device can produce up to 6.8 kg of ice in 24 hours and includes anti-clumping technology.
In Brazil, Hisense is expanding its product line with Side by Side refrigerators, including models with 533 and 441 liters of capacity, as well as a compact 11 kg washer-dryer combo designed for smaller living spaces.
