LG Chem to showcase advanced industrial materials at Fakuma 2026

LG Chem will participate in the Fakuma 2026 plastics exhibition in Friedrichshafen, Germany, from October 12 to 16. The company plans to showcase high-performance, high-value material solutions targeting future growth markets, including AI data centers, robotics, automotive, electronics, and high-functionality breathable films.

The exhibition booth, spanning approximately 70 square meters, will focus on ‘solution marketing’ through three primary themes: ‘Cost Effective’ (unpainted automotive materials and metal replacement), ‘Sustainability’ (bio-based and low-carbon solutions), and ‘Innovative’ (next-generation engineering plastics for AI data centers and robotics).

LG Chem intends to strengthen its presence in the European market, where demand for lightweight and high-functionality materials is rising due to electrification and eco-friendly policies. To support customer development, the company will utilize its proprietary ‘SISO’ (Simulation Integrated Solution) to predict and verify product performance during the design stage.
