LG CNS and Securitize partner on South Korean tokenization market

Securitize and LG CNS have entered into a memorandum of understanding to explore digital asset infrastructure and tokenized assets in South Korea and the broader Asia-Pacific region. The partnership focuses on investigating business prospects for tokenized funds, stocks, and stablecoins as South Korea develops new regulatory frameworks for blockchain-based financial instruments.

In conjunction with these efforts, LG CNS has launched KITL, a blockchain infrastructure platform designed for financial institutions. KITL provides the underlying technology—including electronic wallets, transaction processing, and commission payments—to help banks, securities firms, and payment companies integrate digital assets like stablecoins and real-world-linked assets into their existing financial workflows without needing to build separate systems for every new service.
