LG Electronics ends notebook sales in Brazil, shifts to TVs, appliances and new fridge plant

LG Electronics announced that it will cease sales of its LG Gram notebook line in Brazil from July 2026, citing a strategic focus on product categories with higher margins. The company will continue to offer televisions, audio equipment, home appliances and air‑conditioning units, and it plans to build a refrigerator factory in the metropolitan area of Curitiba to expand its industrial presence.

Separately, a Brazilian consumer reported a delayed delivery of an LG TV ordered online and requested cancellation. LG later confirmed that the customer was refunded, illustrating the company's handling of individual consumer complaints under Brazil’s consumer protection code.
