LG Electronics expands European B2B market with commercial laundry supply
LG Electronics is expanding its business-to-business (B2B) presence in Europe by supplying its ‘LG Professional’ large-capacity commercial laundry appliances to the German distribution and installation specialist, Schilling. The move targets high-demand sectors in Germany, including the hotel, medical, and industrial laundry markets.
Between January and September of this year, LG Electronics reported a approximately 20% increase in commercial washing machine sales in Europe compared to the same period last year. The company is also strengthening its global footprint; in North America, it has more than doubled its supply volume to CSC ServiceWorks, maintaining an average annual revenue growth rate of 41% over the last three years. In Asia, the company is deepening collaborations with major distribution channels in Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
The LG Professional line utilizes ‘AI Core Tech’ to analyze laundry weight, optimizing water usage and drying conditions to reduce energy and time consumption. Additionally, the company showcased its ‘Laundry Crew’ management solution at the EXPO Detergo International 2026 in Milan, which offers remote control, error notifications, and smart diagnostics for commercial operators.
