LG Electronics expands Fit & Max design to laundry and dishwasher lines

LG Electronics is expanding its ‘Fit & Max’ design solution to include washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers, moving beyond its initial application in refrigerator models. The company will showcase these new appliances at the IFA trade fair.

The ‘Fit & Max’ approach is built on two pillars: ‘Fit Space’ and ‘Max Life’. ‘Fit Space’ focuses on installation flexibility and minimalist designs that allow appliances to integrate seamlessly into home environments with reduced protrusions. ‘Max Life’ aims to maximize internal capacity, performance, and energy efficiency without increasing the external footprint.

For the laundry category, LG is utilizing improved internal structures and Inverter Direct Drive (DD) motor technology to minimize vibrations. This allows for larger drums and greater capacity within standard dimensions. Additionally, features such as ‘AI Wash’ and ‘AI Dry’ are included to automatically adjust cycle parameters based on load characteristics, optimizing time and energy consumption.
