LG Electronics expands ThinQ UP service to 37 European countries

LG Electronics has expanded the availability of its ThinQ UP service for home air conditioning units from six to 37 European countries. This expansion allows a broader range of users to access software upgrades designed to enhance product value and provide a more personalized user experience.

Through the LG ThinQ app, users can download and install new software functions for compatible devices. The service currently supports 16 air conditioning models, including the ARTCOOL Gallery Premium, ARTCOOL AI Mirror, and DUALCOOL AI series.

New features include a Start/End Sound function available across all 16 supported models. Additionally, Energy Saving Mode and Fireplace Mode are planned for ARTCOOL and DUALCOOL AI models. The Energy Saving Mode allows for synchronized energy management across various compatible LG appliances, such as televisions, refrigerators, and washing machines. The Fireplace Mode is designed for winter use, helping to distribute warm air from other heat sources once a set temperature is reached.
