LG Electronics introduces Joseon Dynasty digital art collection

LG Electronics has launched the ‘K-Heritage Collection: Season 1 Joseon Royal Series’ on its LG Gallery+ art content service. The collection features 21 digital art pieces that reinterpret cultural heritage from the Joseon Dynasty, including royal paintings, ceramics, and palace architecture.

Available through the company’s proprietary webOS smart TV platform, the collection includes media art such as ‘Into the Throne Hall,’ which depicts the interior of Gyeongbokgung Palace, and ‘Between Moon and Water,’ showcasing the night view of Gyeonghoeru Pavilion. Other digital recreations include royal paintings like Irworobongdo and various ceramics such as white porcelain moon jars and blue and white porcelain.

The collection was produced by digital twin company WIPCO, with planning and creation by Heritage LAB, and distribution managed by ELFACTORY. LG Electronics plans to continue expanding its digital art collections to help customers use their TVs as digital canvases for interior design.
