LG Electronics launches new refrigerator in Vietnam and detachable 4K screen in Indonesia

LG Electronics announced the release of two new consumer‑electronics products in Southeast Asia. In Vietnam, the company introduced the French Door Fit & Max refrigerator, part of its InstaView range, featuring a space‑saving Thin Door design, Zero Clearance hinges, three ice‑making options and integrated AI features. The launch was presented by In Jisoo, director of Home Appliance Solutions at LG Electronics Vietnam, highlighting the model’s suitability for compact urban kitchens.

In Indonesia, LG unveiled the StanbyME 2 Max, a 32‑inch 4K detachable display that runs on webOS and incorporates Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and AI‑driven picture and sound enhancements. The unit can be used independently or mounted on a mobile base, supports USB‑C connectivity, and offers up to 4.5 hours of continuous video playback. It became available locally on 22 July at a price of 36.9 million đồng.
