LG Electronics partners with Metropolitan Museum of Art for digital content
LG Electronics has entered into a partnership with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York to provide high-quality art content through its LG Gallery+ service. This service, integrated into the company’s webOS smart TV platform, will allow users to view approximately 100 masterpieces from the museum’s collection directly on their television screens.
Featured works include pieces such as ‘The Monet Family in the Garden of Argenteuil’ by Édouard Manet, ‘At the Beach’ by William Merritt Chase, and ‘Still Life with Flowers and Fruit’ by Severin Rosen. This collaboration aims to transform TVs into digital canvases, enabling customers to enhance their home interiors with world-class art.
LG Electronics currently offers over 5,000 pieces of art content, including modern art, game illustrations, movie posters, and landscape photography, through collaborations with various institutions and platforms like Saatchi Art. Customers who purchase premium models, such as the LG OLED evo AI G6, LG Signature OLED W, or LG Gallery TV AI, will receive a three-month free trial of the LG Gallery+ service.
