LG Electronics showcases new TV and commercial display solutions at InfoComm 2026
LG Electronics presented its expanded ecosystem of visual‑display technologies at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas. Under the theme “Solutions Beyond Screens”, the company demonstrated Direct View LED (DVLED) panels, cloud‑based management tools, AI‑driven concierge experiences using Transparent OLED and conversational AI, and a next‑generation telepresence system with portable battery‑powered screens. Partnerships with Invisible Arts, Glass‑Media and PEERVSN were highlighted, emphasizing applications for retail, corporate, education, government and public‑space environments.
In a separate consumer guide, five 40‑inch smart TVs were compared, focusing on panel type, resolution, colour performance and refresh rate. The LG OLED evo C5 was noted for its self‑emissive OLED panel, α9 image processor, Dolby Vision, 120‑144 Hz support and four HDMI 2.1 inputs. The Xiaomi TV F Pro 43 offered a true 4K QLED panel with Fire TV and Alexa integration, while the Metz 40MQH7000Y combined a QLED panel with Full HD resolution and Google TV with Chromecast. The guide clarified that QLED refers to colour technology, not resolution, and ranked the models accordingly.
