LG Electronics unveils new Tandem OLED gaming and professional monitors

LG Electronics is expanding its display lineup with several high-performance monitors featuring advanced Tandem OLED technology. This fourth-generation panel utilizes a four-layer structure to improve brightness, durability, and resistance to image burn-in, achieving a peak brightness of up to 1,500 nits.

For gamers, the UltraGear evo series includes the 39-inch 5K2K ultrawide model (39GX950B-B) with a 1500R curvature and the 32-inch 4K model (32GX870B-B), which features a dual-mode capability allowing users to switch between 4K at 240Hz and Full HD at 480Hz. These models cover 99.5% of the DCI-P3 color space and carry DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.

For creative professionals, LG is offering the UltraFine series, including the 40-inch 5K2K ultrawide (40U990A-W) and the 32-inch 6K (32U990A-S) displays. These models support Thunderbolt 5, providing high pixel density and expanded workspace efficiency for video editing and high-resolution content creation.
