LG Group begins month-long strategic reviews focused on AI

LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo has initiated a month-long series of business reviews across all group affiliates to evaluate annual performance and establish business plans for the upcoming year. The sessions, which began on the 19th, will involve CEOs and business unit heads from various sectors, including electronics, chemicals, telecommunications, and services.

A primary focus of these strategic meetings is the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) growth strategies. The group aims to translate previous high-level discussions regarding AI transformation (AX), research and development, and investment efficiency into concrete subsidiary-level execution plans. Key areas of interest include AI factories, physical AI, and data center infrastructure.

Furthermore, the reviews will address follow-up strategies for collaborations with global technology leaders. LG has been working to deepen its cooperation with Nvidia in fields such as mobility and AI factories, while also expanding its partnership with Microsoft regarding AI infrastructure. The group is utilizing a ‘One LG’ strategy to consolidate resources across its subsidiaries to maximize competitive advantages in the AI sector.
