LG Group showcases OLED and robot component technologies at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, LG Display and LG Electronics are showcasing advanced technologies to expand their B2B market presence.

LG Display is hosting a private ‘Tandem WOLED Tech Show’ to promote its high-brightness, low-reflectivity OLED technology to European and global customers. The Tandem WOLED, which features independent layers of red, green, and blue light sources, is being targeted for large-scale TVs and the growing gaming monitor market.

Simultaneously, LG Electronics is advancing its robot component business by focusing on ‘actuators’—key components that function as joints and muscles in robots. The company is currently in supply discussions with several global big-tech firms and has a technical and production review meeting scheduled for October. LG is leveraging its 60 years of motor expertise to compete in the humanoid and industrial robot sectors.
