LG hosts ‘LG SPARK 2026’ AI festival with global tech leaders

LG is hosting ‘LG SPARK 2026’, a large-scale AI innovation and technology festival, at its LG Sciencepark R&D hub in Magok, Seoul, from the 7th to the 17th. The event aims to accelerate the group’s AI transformation (AX) by showcasing research, development, and practical business applications.

The festival includes several specialized programs: the ‘LG Tech Fair’ showcasing 41 new R&D technologies, the ‘LG AX Fair’ presenting 68 cases of AI application in business operations, an ‘AI Talk Concert’ regarding the company’s proprietary ‘EXAONE’ model, and the ‘LG AI DevCon’ for developer exchange. Notably, global big tech companies including NVIDIA, Google, Amazon, and Microsoft will participate in the DevCon to share the latest AI trends and insights with LG developers.

Key technological focuses include ‘Physical AI’, such as the CLOiD home robot integrated with AI appliances; AI Data Centers (AIDC), featuring semiconductor performance-enhancing technologies; and mobility components like next-generation automotive films and motors. LG will also present 28 technologies related to its strategic ‘ABC’ sectors: AI, Bio, and Clean Tech.
