LG Innotek Executive Cho Ji-tae receives Silver Tower Order

Cho Ji-tae, Executive Vice President of LG Innotek’s Package Solution Division, has been awarded the Silver Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit at the 21st Electronics and IT Day ceremony. The honor recognizes his contributions to strengthening national industrial competitiveness through the development of global leading materials and components, driving production innovation based on Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX), and promoting the localization of equipment.

Cho has played a significant role in LG Innotek’s growth, contributing to cumulative exports of 80 trillion won between 2021 and 2023. He is recognized as an expert in yield and production, having previously led the Optical Solution Division where he integrated AI into the mobile camera module production process. This innovation helped maintain the company’s global leadership in the sector.

Currently leading the Package Solution Division, Cho is overseeing large-scale investments to double semiconductor substrate production capacity. This move aims to meet the surging demand for high-value semiconductor substrates in the AI era, with a strategic goal to grow the division’s operating profit to 1 trillion won within five years.
