LG Innotek hosts recruitment event in US to secure AI and packaging talent
LG Innotek recently held ‘Inno Connect’, a recruitment event aimed at securing global technical talent, at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles. The initiative, which has been held annually in the United States since 2024, invited top-tier researchers and professionals from 16 prestigious American universities, including Stanford, Caltech, Yale, and UCLA.
Approximately 30 master’s, doctoral, and experienced professionals participated, focusing on research areas critical to the company’s future growth, such as physical AI (including robotics and autonomous driving), advanced packaging, and next-generation optics. The event featured sessions where LG Innotek’s R&D executives shared technical trends and held ‘Ask Me Anything’ sessions to discuss the company’s talent development philosophy.
CTO Min Jhon emphasized that the company seeks to provide an environment where experts can lead the era of physical AI. To bolster its global capabilities, LG Innotek also operates annual global internship programs for international students, with high performers being eligible for full-time positions.
