LG launches xboom Blast portable party speaker

LG has launched the global distribution of its xboom Blast, a high-power portable party speaker designed specifically for outdoor use. The device features a maximum output of 220 W when plugged in, maintaining a high 210 W even when running on its battery.

Key technical specifications include a 99 Wh replaceable battery providing up to 36 hours of continuous playback. For durability, the speaker carries an IP68 certification and has undergone seven military-standard tests to ensure robustness in environments like camping or beaches.

The audio system utilizes two 5.25-inch neodymium woofers and two 20-mm tweeters from Peerless, supplemented by passive radiators. Sound tuning was conducted in collaboration with producer will.i.am and includes AI-driven features such as AI Sound for real-time music analysis and Space Calibration Pro to adapt audio to the surrounding environment. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, USB-C, and Auracast for wireless pairing with multiple speakers.
