LG OLED W6 wallpaper TV launches in Germany with Zero Connect Box
LG has revived its Wallpaper TV line with the OLED W6, marketed as the thinnest OLED TV in the world at 9.9 mm. The model relies on an external Zero Connect Box that houses all HDMI and other ports, allowing the TV to be mounted almost cable‑free on the wall. The Zero Connect Box supports up to four HDMI 2.1 connections, transmits audio‑video signals losslessly up to ten metres, and is slimmer than previous versions.
The OLED W6 uses LG Display’s latest RGB‑Tandem panel with Brightness Booster Ultra, an enhanced anti‑reflection coating, and supports HDR formats, Dolby Vision IQ, as well as gaming features such as 165 Hz refresh rate, ALLM and VRR. It runs webOS 26 and includes a wall‑mount in the package. The TV will be available in Germany in July 2026, with a 77‑inch version priced at €6,499 and an 83‑inch version at €8,999. The product was first shown at CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
