LG Twins and Doosan Bears launch Jamsil Stadium farewell merchandise
The LG Twins and Doosan Bears are launching a series of ‘Goodbye Jamsil’ commemorative products and hosting a joint pop-up exhibition to mark the final season of use for Jamsil Baseball Stadium.
Special collaborative items include a stadium model containing actual grass from the field and mascot-shaped glass bottles filled with soil from the stadium. These limited-edition items will be available for purchase starting October 7 at 4:00 PM through the LG Twins online goods shop.
A joint pop-up exhibition will run from September 29 to October 7 near the central ticket office at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. LG Twins will also release individual merchandise, including uniforms, t-shirts, and 3D-modeled chair keyrings based on actual stadium seating.
Jamsil Baseball Stadium, which opened in July 1982, will close after this season. Teams will move to a temporary 20,000-seat facility near the Jamsil Main Stadium from 2027 to 2031, while a new 30,000-seat dome stadium is planned as part of the Jamsil Sports and MICE development project, aimed for completion in 2032.
