LG unveils 9.9 mm thin Wallpaper TV W6, the world’s thinnest wireless OLED

LG Electronics announced the OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV on 18 June 2026. The model measures just 9.95 mm (about 9 mm) thick, making it the thinnest true‑wireless OLED display. All internal components, including the power board and speakers, were completely re‑engineered to fit within the panel, eliminating visible connectors. Video is transmitted wirelessly via a Zero Connect Box that delivers 4K resolution at up to 165 Hz without loss, while audio is provided by integrated 4.2‑channel 60 W speakers.

The screen uses Hyper Radiant Color technology, boosting brightness to up to 3.9 times that of conventional OLEDs, and the a11 AI Processor Gen 3 with a five‑fold stronger NPU enhances colour depth to 12‑bit. The design incorporates aluminium‑reinforced layers for stability and a fold‑out mounting arm for precise wall placement. The series earned the iF Design Award 2026 and Red Dot “Best of the Best” 2026.

Overall, the Wallpaper TV combines ultra‑thin form factor, fully wireless operation, and high‑performance imaging and sound in a single wall‑mounted panel.
