LG Unveils New UltraGear Gaming Monitors and Low‑Cost WOLED Panels

LG Electronics announced the launch of its UltraGear™ evo gaming monitor series, adding three high‑resolution 5K2K models: a 52‑inch curved G9 with a 240 Hz refresh rate, a 39‑inch GX9 OLED display that won a CES 2026 Innovation Award, and a 27‑inch GM9 Mini‑LED screen. The monitors are marketed for ultra‑immersive gaming and creative work and are now available for pre‑order.

In a separate development, LG Display revealed a new two‑stack WOLED panel architecture that lowers production costs while preserving the high image quality of its three‑stack designs. The panels deliver a wider color gamut, reduced operating voltage, and comparable performance under various color‑temperature conditions, positioning LG to expand its share in the monitor market, especially in more affordable segments.
