Lhays Macêdo releases debut children's book

Brazilian voice actress and director Lhays Macêdo, known for voicing characters such as Pikachu in ‘Pokémon: I Choose You!’, Polly Parrot in ‘Peppa Pig’, and Lola Loud in ‘The Loud House’, has released her debut children's book, ‘A camaleoa Luni’. Published by Editora Mundo Cristão, the book is also available as an audiobook.

The story follows Luni, a chameleon living in the village of Aguaviva who possesses the ability to change colors. The narrative uses Luni's struggle to fit into different social groups as a metaphor for themes of identity, self-esteem, belonging, and authenticity. The plot follows Luni's journey toward the ‘Fonte da Verdade’ (Fountain of Truth) to discover her true self.

Targeted at children aged 4 to 8, the work features illustrations by Laura Mocelin. The book is intended to serve as a resource for parents and educators to discuss emotional development and values with children.
